A saute of minced mushrooms that is suitable for use as a pasta or omelette filling or a topping for bruschetta. Yields approx 2 cups.

Adaptation of the Epicurious recipe.




  1. Mis en place
    1. Dice white onion
    2. Mince garlic cloves
    3. Remove dried stem ends and clean mushrooms as needed
    4. Finely chop mushroom
  2. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat
  3. Add in onions and cook until translucent- 2-3 minutes
  4. Add in garlic and cook for another 2 minutes
  5. Add in mushrooms and salt. Cook at medium until mushrooms start to release liquid.
  6. Add in parsley and black pepper.
  7. Raise temp to medium-high then saute until liquid has evaporated.
